WAXING & THREADING

At Bijou Beauty, we pride ourselves on being waxing specialists. 

Using Lycon Hot Wax, we provide intimate and sensitive waxing services for all genders.

For non-sensitive areas, e.g legs, we use strip/warm wax.

If you prefer Threading your face, instead of waxing, our trained Therapists will be able to take care of your hair removal needs.

Hair removal Do's and Dont's:

• No make-up or product on the area to be waxed/threaded

• Area must be exfoliated and moisturised 24 hours prior to appointment

• Hair must be at least 0.5mm (face) and 0.7mm (body). As a rule, if in doubt then give it an extra week to grow.

• Avoid products, chemicals, UV rays after hair removal

• Red skin and itchiness is normal, if it persists, contact us for further information and product recommendations.

• Do not have a hot bath/shower for at least 6hrs. If you must bathe that day then use lukewarm water only, and avoid using products on the area.

• When travelling to/from your hair removal appointment, avoid running/cycling as sweat and friction can cause irritation to the area.
